Our Story

Co-owners Quincy Cherrett and Kevin Channell met in Jackson Hole, Wy in 2010 and have been close friends ever since. With different culinary and hospitality backgrounds their partnership goes together like Saturday and Sunday.

Quincy had a passion for cooking from a young age which lead him to working in kitchens in Jackson before deciding to pursue his passion at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY.

After completing his degree Quincy continued his culinary journey back in Jackson at multiple establishments before moving to Denver and becoming the Chef de Cuisine at Colt & Gray/St. Ellie and Death & Co then the Executive Chef of Izakaya Den and Sushi Den. Having run the culinary program at some of the premier restaurants in Denver, Quincy decided it was time for a new challenge.

During the same time period Kevin stayed in Jackson Hole and was advancing himself in the hospitality side of the business. He worked his way through the ranks starting as a busser to server/bartender and eventually joining management. Kevin managed multiple different restaurants from Roadhouse Brewing Co to a Rendezvous Bistro for the Fine Dining Restaurant Group. After Jackson, Kevin moved to Portland, ME where he worked at multiple James Beard Award winning restaurants (Eventide Oyster Co and Fore Street Restaurant).

These two friends decided it was time to begin their own business venture by combining their varied skill sets to start 22 Provisions. Authentic style sandwiches, plates, and sides located in Avanti F&B, Denver.
